'Insanity': That's what Michael Healy-Rae thinks of our approach to motorways

The independent TD regularly drives from Kerry to Dublin.

MICHAEL HEALY-RAE stopped by for a High Table interview this week.

We’ve already heard his views on crime, life as an independent TD and and his father’s legacy.

One thing he didn’t wish to discuss, however, was the same-sex marriage referendum. He said the subject was “not an issue” in his constituency of Kerry South as no one mentions it when he knocks on doors in the area.

He was more open to discuss a certain pet peeve of his, namely the National Road Authority’s ‘insane’ approach to building motorways:
