No Holding Back

'I might try and jump a centimetre or two next time' -- Jared Payne speaks for first time since THAT red card

Ulster’s Kiwi fullback will return from suspension when Leinster visit Ravenhill this Friday.

JARED PAYNE’S SUSPENSION for the dangerous tackle on Saracens fullback Alex Goode will end this week when the Kiwi runs out at Ravenhill against Leinster.

The video below is his first time speaking publicly about the incident that cost Ulster a place in the Heineken Cup semi-final and instead allowed the Premiership leaders advance all the way to next month’s decider in Cardiff.

The soon-to-be Irish qualified centre / fullback says the incident won’t change his approach to future contestable high balls, saying “there’ll be no holding back” if he’s asked to field an early Garryowen this Friday.
