The Dredge: Jennifer Aniston got the runs from eating McDonalds*

*Probably. All the very best of the day’s celebrity dirt.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt – from the top to the very bottom.

#McJENNIFER: Jennifer Aniston got the runs from eating at McDonalds.

Not because there was anything wrong with the food, but because her body is a delicately-balanced temple. At least, that’s what we’re taking from this quote:

I’ll never forget when Justin and I were on a road trip and we were so hungry. The only thing around was McDonald’s. I think I ordered a Big Mac. Wow, my body did not react well to that! It was like putting gasoline in a purified system.

Gasoline in a purified system? We’re not sure what that means, but it sounds bad and possibly flammable. (The Cut via dlisted)

#LILO: It was Lindsay Lohan’s birthday yesterday. She had possibly the saddest birthday ever.

Epic sad face for Lindsay.

#BECKS: David Beckham ran the Dads’ Race at his kid’s school sports day, and won. Because he’s a big old show-off.

There were the other dads at the school in London, lacing up their loafers and regretting that second helping of pie last night, when in blazed oh, a professional athlete. An onlooker said:

Becks easily won the race. He beat the other dads by miles. He sprinted to the end in no time at all and left the other less fit dads way behind.

#LACTATION STATION: Alicia Silverstone – yes, her from Clueless – has launched a breast-milk-sharing service for vegan mothers. So that mams who don’t have enough milk don’t have to resort to feeding their children the milk of meat-eaters.

Her brainwave was sparked by a pal’s experience:

Because of a breast reduction surgery, she found she wouldn’t be able to make enough milk for [her baby], no matter how much precious boobie time they spent together. She tried reaching out in her community for donor milk, but it was almost impossible to figure out what kind of lifestyle choices the donors had made.

And how did she feel about that?

After all that hard work keeping herself vibrant and healthy, she felt she had a right to demand better for her baby.

Quite right. Silverstone is now appealing for ‘Kind Mamas’ to milk-share on her blog. Register here.
