With the massive news this morning that the UK has voted to leave the European Union, the slightly confused former Arsenal and Liverpool winger (who now plays in Singapore) took to Twitter to pose a question.
After being inundated with an inevitable sweep of responses (you can probably guess the tone), Pennant deleted the tweet and tried to convince everyone that he was only playing around.
“This is jokes”, he later stated.
