A YEAR AGO, Joe Brolly donated a kidney to a Shane Finnegan, a Belfast based father of three.
The remarkable gesture was the start of a campaign by the two men to transform the success rates of organ donation in this country.
Next Monday night November 18th at 9.35pm, RTÉ One airs the documentary ‘Joe Brolly – Perfect Match’.
Production team Loosehorse have followed Brolly over the past year from the operation and its harrowing aftermath, and focused on their campaign.
There’s also plenty behind the scenes footage from The Sunday Game and judging by this trailer, the documentary looks well worth a watch.
