FEW PEOPLE COULD blame John Delaney for taking a break from soccer, in light of Ireland’s hugely disappointing 2-2 draw with Austria on Tuesday night.
Therefore, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to learn that the FAI Chief Executive was spotted in attendance at the Kilkenny vs Cork match today.
Yet while Delaney will likely have been more than happy to take time out of his day job, his appearance is surely connected with the fact that several Kilkenny hurlers were invited by him to attend the Austria game during the week.
Sadly though, there was no sign of Trap or Tardelli in the vicinity.
