Jose Aldo comes out of hibernation to play in exhibition football match with Roberto Carlos

He lasted longer than 13 seconds.

JOSE ALDO HAS been keeping a low profile since his devastating 13-second defeat to Conor McGregor earlier this month but returned to the spotlight to play in a charity football match.

The Brazilian lost his UFC belt to McGregor in Las Vegas on 12 December but he seemed to be in good spirits when he lined out for the ‘Game Against Hunger’ charity match.

Aldo’s love of football has been well documented before so it was little surprise he came out of hibernation to take part alongside the likes of Roberto Carlos, Robinho and Elano.

He played at right back for the ‘Time of Love’ side as they beat the ‘Time of Peace’ outfit 8-4, although Aldo looked vulnerable defensively as a lapse of concentration gifted the opposition an early goal.

As you can see from the footage below, he is caught horribly out of position allowing Robinho acres of space on the left.
