THERE HAS BEEN a greater focus than usual on goals this week, and in particular, spectacular ones.
The ten nominees for FIFA’s Puskas Award were released this week and Peamount United’s Stephanie Roche is representing Ireland with this screamer.
Kay Banjo is a striker for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in America and although his backheel happened after the nomination process, it is every bit as good as some of the other goals.
The commentator does a great job with the ‘OH MY!!’ of portraying how much of a cracker Banjo’s goal was.
Still not as good as Roche’s goal though.
