Keane set to be appointed new Millwall manager - report

The club’s Boston owner, John Berylson, is said to be an admirer of the ex-Man United midfielder.

CONTROVERSIAL IRISH MANAGER Roy Keane could be set for a stint as Millwall boss.

The side are currently struggling towards the bottom of the Championship, with current manager Kenny Jackett under increased pressure following their loss  to West Ham yesterday.

And reports have surfaced that Millwall’s Boston owner, John Berylson, has lost patience with Jackett and has earmarked Keane to be the club’s next manager.

The ex-Celtic player previously had spells managing both Sunderland and Ipswich.

He also enjoyed a hugely successful playing career in which he made over 300 appearances for Man United, winning numerous accolades in the process.
