JOE SCHMIDT WILL have to plan without Keith Earls for Ireland’s RBS 6 Nations bid.

The Munster man is facing between six and eights weeks on the sidelines, the province have conformed today.

Earls suffered medial ligament damage to his left knee during the Heineken Cup win over Edinburgh at the weekend.

The Limerick native signed a central IRFU contract earlier this week.
