CORK AND CLARE lock horns once again later today but it's 13 years since an All-Ireland final was last contested on a Saturday.

Back in 2000, Kerry and Galway met on 7 October in a replay two weeks after ending all-square at Croke Park.

The game was only six minutes old when wing-back Declan Meehan took a pass from Padraig Joyce to score this fantastically-worked goal.

In spite of that strike, the Kingdom went in 0-9 to 1-04 to the good at half-time and with the Tribesman only managing to add a single point after the break, Paidi Ó Sé's men recorded a four-point victory in front of 64,000 fans.
