It’s time for tonight’s second game in Croke Park and it’s not going to take place in glorious sunshine. Far from it as the rain buckets down in Croke Park and the floodlights are on with both teams out on the pitch.

Three Monaghan changes: Conor Boyle, Chris McGuinness and Thomas Kerr for Ryan Wylie, Stephen Gollogly and Dermot Malone.

20 mins – Now that should liven things up here. Kildare hit the net in style as Bolton thumps a brilliant left-foot shot past Rory Beggan. Credit to Alan Smith for splitting the defence with the pass but did he nudge Colin Walshe in the back initially to win the ball? It might have been slight contact and play was allowed to continue. Take nothing away from Bolton, he showed great conviction to score.
