Two hooded men wearing dark clothing stopped the car at around 5am.

POLICE IN DERRY are appealing for information after a car was hijacked in the Prehen Road area of the city early this morning.

The driver was forced to stop his Citroen C4 by two men at around 5am.

The man wasn’t injured, but was left badly shaken by the incident.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information which may be of assistance to police to contact CID at Strand Road on 101,” Donnell said.
