UCD CLOSED THE gap on SSE Airtricity First Division leaders Waterford United with a 2-0 win in Athlone.

The guests retook the lead later in the half when Conor Keely found the net. The game was put beyond any doubt when Cabinteely scored a third through Aidan Collins’ own goal before Christian Lotefa made it 4-1 in injury time.
