Legendary wrestler 'Macho Man' Randy Savage dies in car accident - report

The former WWF star died after he had a heart attack behind the wheel in Florida this morning, according to TMZ.

ONE OF THE great wrestlers ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage has reportedly died in a car accident in Florida.

TMZ is reporting that the wrestling legend suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel, losing control of his vehicle and slamming into a tree in the Florida city of Tampa.

He was 58 and had recently celebrated his one-year anniversary with new wife Lynn who was also in the car but survived with minor injuries.

Macho Man began wrestling in the World Wresting Federation (WWF) in 1985 and became a superstar in the industry with his trademark catchphrase “Ohhhh Yeahhh”.

He later became synonymous with the famous American meat snack Slim Jim, filming commercials where he used his trademark phrase:
