JOCKEY ROBBIE POWER and trainer Jessica Harrington may have been celebrating after Sizing John claimed victory in the feature race in The Stan James Irish Gold Cup yesterday at Leopardstown.
But it was also an afternoon to savour for one Dublin-based punter, who correctly forecast six winners at the meeting and just missed out on a multi-million jackpot when Imperial Way finished third in the last race of the day.
The bet was a €120 ‘Super Heinz’ – a seven-bet accumulator that predicted seven horses to place in their respective races – and was placed with Paddy Power.
Who’s That, Grand Partner, Mega Fortune, Bacardys, Disko and Sizing John were triumphant in the first six races.
