THE NAME MAY not be as catchy as Living with Lions but that will not prevent a host of rugby supporters from queuing up to purchase a DVD (or BluRay) of the successful tour to Australia.
The Official Film of the 2013 Lions Tour to Australia will be released on Bank Holiday Monday, 5 August, here and a teaser trailer highlights many of the memorable moments.
Welsh heroes George North and Leigh Halfpenny feature prominently, as does Jonathan Sexton. The Wallabies comeback in the Second Test was followed by a tranche of changes by Lions coach Warren Gatland, including the axing of legendary centre Brian O’Driscoll.
Many of Gatland’s gambles paid off as the Lions won 41-16 in the Third Test finale to clinch their first series in 16 years. Check out the trailer here:
