Everton 2-0 Blackpool

Millwall 0-2 Bolton

Norwich 0-1 Leicester City

Welcome to our coverage of the FA Cup three o’clocks. Admittedly, they’re not the most overwhelming games. But they are interesting in their own right. Aside from the fact they all provide a decent chance of an upset, all three of the Premier League clubs involved can harbour realistic aspirations of winning the competition in what looks set to be one of the most open FA Cups for years.

The teams:

Norwich: Steer, Martin, Barnett, Ward, Drury, Fox, Bennett, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Morison, Jackson. Subs: Ruddy, Johnson, Crofts, Vaughan, Surman, Lappin, Wilbraham.

Leicester: Schmeichel, Peltier, St. Ledger, Morgan, Kennedy, Marshall, Wellens, Danns, Dyer, Beckford, Nugent. Subs: Smith, Konchesky, Mills, Howard, Moussa, Delfouneso, Hopper.

The teams:

Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Heitinga, Distin, Baines, Gueye, Gibson, Neville, Fellaini, Drenthe, Stracqualursi. Subs: Hahnemann, Barkley, Coleman, Vellios, Silva, Forshaw, Baxter.

Blackpool: Gilks, Baptiste, Cathcart, Wilson, Harris, Basham, Angel, Sylvestre, Taylor-Fletcher, Kevin Phillips, Ince. Subs: Halstead, Southern, Eardley, Evatt, Dicko, Bednar, LuaLua.

The teams:

Millwall: Mildenhall, Dunne, Robinson, Lowry, Barron, Feeney, Trotter, Smith, Kane, Henderson, Keogh. Subs: Forde, Craig, Bouazza, Henry, N’Guessan, Mason, Wright.

Bolton: Bogdan, Steinsson, Wheater, Ream, Ricketts, Mark Davies, Muamba, Reo-Coker, Sanli, Ngog, Miyaichi. Subs: Jaaskelainen, Robinson, Eagles, Knight, Klasnic, Pratley, Boyata.

It’s all kicking off at the Chelsea press conference apparently, where Andre Villas-Boas has denied that Didier Drogba gave the half-time teamtalk.

Wayne Rooney is at Goodison Park to watch Everton against Blackpool. Once a blue, etc

Rooney is apparently in attendance with Alan Stubbs, David Weir and Duncan Ferguson.

And we’re off…

Sorry about the delay, a few gremlins in system. But we’ve got goals…

GOAL! Milwall 0-1 Bolton

Ryo Miyaichi scores within minutes of his full debut by firing in a long-range cracker!

GOAL! Everton 1-0 Blackpool

Royston Drenthe gives Everton the lead after just 49 seconds, with Magaye Gueye taking advantage of atrocious Blackpool defending to cross for the finish.

GOAL! Norwich 0-1 Leicester City

Trapattoni favourite Sean St Ledger jumps above Steve Morison to head in Ben Marshall;s corner. That was Leicester’s fourth corner in a row in the opening few minutes. Norwich were warned!

GOAL! Everton 2-0 Blackpool

And, within minutes, Denis Stracqualursi continues his fine form by stabbing home after Royston Drenthe’s corner.

It’s a cracking game at Carrow Road, where Norwich have responded well to Leicester’s opener.

GOAL! Norwich 1-1 Leicester

And there we go from Norwich! Wes Hoolahan scores but only after missing a penalty! And, on that, Kasper Schmeichel is very unlucky: first to have been adjudged to have taken down Elliott Bennett, second because his save from Hoolahan’s penalty just ended at the midfielder’s feet, allowing the Irishman to knock in the rebound.

Millwall have recovered from Bolton’s early goal at the New Den with Andy Keigh central to their play. No final ball yet, though, as Bolton still look dangerous on the break.

Everton in complete command against Blackpool. Whatever of the quality of  opposition, Everton look a very different side to that which started the season.

He’s had a few “patterns” to his Everton career, Moyes. Remember when he used to have a good season followed by a bad one, then a bad first half of season, followed by a strong finish.

Half-times everywhere. The most entertaining game undoubtedly at Carrow Road.

We’re back under way for the second halves.

Everton could be a good bet to win the FA Cup this season. It is an open year and they’ve had a strong recent history in it.

Darron Gibson almost claims his second Everton goal and the third of the game. After a fine ball over, Harris gets back well to block but the Irishman wasn’t helped by Fellaini who seemed to impede him.

Blackpool dominating possession here at Goodison Park but it’s meant nothing really. Meanwhile, Seamus Coleman about to come off for Gueye.

GOAL! Millwall 0-2 Bolton

And that should be that at Bolton. Coyle set to keep his cup run going and get Bolton to the last eight for the second year in succession. Miyaichi sets up David N’Gog.

What a strike! The evergreen Kevin Phillips cracks the corner of post and crossbar with a brilliant strike. Might have made for an interesting ending at Goodison.

GOAL! Norwich 1-2 Leicester City

Dave Nugent – he of one England cap, one England goal and barely any in the Premier League – shows supreme awareness and stealth to evade his marker with a fine run and slip the ball in. Norwich in trouble. Need a response.

Without wishing to patronising them (but unfortunately doing exactly that), Blackpool have shown admirable pluck here at Goodison. Still making a game of it with 13 minutes left and the scoreline 2-0.

Fellaini has a shot cleared off the line. He perhaps should have just headed it with the goal at his mercy though. Instead, from yards out, he chested it down and adjusted, allowing the defenders to shuffle back.

Fellaini misses his fourth good chance of the match by heading over from Drenthe’s cross. Not your day, soon.

Coleman now goes close, volleying at goal. Everton have really shown Blackpool who’s boss in the last few… but still haven’t completely killed off the game.

Tim Howard makes a superb diving, finger-tip save to keep out Lua-Lua’s stinger of a shot.

Penalty to Blackpool!

It’s perhaps harsh as Heitinga and Bodnar seemed to get into a tangle of legs. There was no real challenge to speak of though. Difficult decision to give.

And Kevin Phillips skies it over the bar!!!

A weird run-up! We’re denied a grandstand finish at Goodison. Three minutes left and that’s surely it.

FULL-TIME: Millwall 0-2 Bolton

Owen Coyle seals his second successive FA Cup sixth round with an ultimately facile win over Millwall.

FULL-TIME: Everton 2-0 Blackpool

And Everton go into the draw too. They were full value for the 2-0 despite the late drama.

FULL-TIME Norwich 1-2 Leicester

The Championship club complete the upset! The FA Cup fixtures so far have been much more fascinating than you might have expected beforehand. Everton and Bolton through impressively with Norwich out and Chelsea struggling. But the game of the day is undoubtedly that coming next… Sunderland v Arsenal.
