Tonight’s teams are out and Mkhitaryan makes just his second competitive start for United and first since the loss to City on 10 September.

We’re underway…

United have started this game on the front foot.

Pogba has headed Valencia’s cross just over early on.

Pogba’s shot goes well over.

The French international has been lively in the early stages, and will have plenty of freedom to go forward in midfield, with his midfield partner Michael Carrick primarily the man responsible for protecting the back four.

Lovely interplay between Mkhitaryan and Rooney.

They exchange a couple of passes before the England international just slightly overhits the final through ball back towards the Armenia international.

United have dominated possession and territory in these opening 15 minutes.

That said, Feyenoord are starting to look more stable after a nervy opening from a defensive viewpoint.

Two chances in quick succession.

Pogba’s powerful shot is tipped over by Brad Jones.

From the ensuing corner, the goalkeeper has to make another save as Carrick attempts to place a strike from the edge of the area into the corner of the net.

Van der Heijden makes a good tackle to stop Mata in his tracks.

Meanwhile, down the other end, Romero makes an unconventional save with his legs to deny Kuyt.

United have looked less threatening since the opening few minutes.

There is no real urgency or tempo in the home side’s play in recent minutes.

Pogba, among others, looks far too casual and lethargic in his demeanour.

Lovely ball into the box by Rooney and Jones shows good bravery to get to the ball before Pogba.

Better from United!

MAN UNITED 1-0 FEYENOORD (ROONEY 36)

Lovely through ball from Ibrahimovic, and Rooney produces an excellent finish, dinking the ball over Jones.

That goal, which had a hint of offside, makes Rooney Man United’s all-time highest goalscorer in Europe.

Here’s a look at Rooney’s classy finish.

HALF-TIME: MAN UNITED 1-0 FEYENOORD

Half-time, and United are well worth the 1-0 lead given to them by Rooney’s composed finish following a clever Ibrahimovic through ball.

The Red Devils have controlled the play and been the more adventurous of the two sides.

Feyenoord had one excellent chance, with Kuyt’s shot saved by the legs of Romero, but otherwise, the Dutch team have offered little in attack and want to shut up shop primarily.

Rooney now has 248 goals for Man United, leaving him one behind Bobby Charlton’s all-time record.

The second half is underway…

Mkhitaryan finds himself in a promising position, but Dammers makes a good defensive block.

Moments later, Mkhitaryan runs through on goal and he’s seemingly brought down by Toornstra, but the ref waves play on.

Shortly thereafter, Mata almost chips Jones from well outside the box, forcing the goalkeeper to make an acrobatic tip over the bar.

“Mkhitaryan’s definitely got something to offer this Manchester United side.”

That’s the verdict of BT Sport’s Robbie Savage based on tonight’s display.

Ibrahimovic gets on the end of a Rooney cross but he’s adjudged offside and blasts it just over anyway.

It may only be 1-0, but it has been one of United’s best attacking displays of the season so far.

Good work from Mkhitaryan, who’s been excellent tonight.

He plays a one-two with Ibrahimovic, before blasting the ball into the side-netting from a tight angle.

Meanwhile, Kuyt has just been replaced by Steven Berghuis, the player on loan from Watford.

Pogba gives the ball away sloppily before fouling Vilhena just outside the box.

United have dominated this game, but they must be wary of complacency with just over 20 minutes remaining.

MAN UNITED 2-0 FEYENOORD (MATA 69)

Mata, who was about to be taken off, doubles United’s advantage.

A glorious reverse pass by Rooney makes it, with Mata subsequently slotting home with a simple finish.

It’s the Spanish international’s last act of the game, as he’s replaced by Rashford.

Another Feyenoord substitution, as Jørgensen is replaced by Kramer.

MAN UNITED 3-0 FEYENOORD (JONES OWN GOAL 74)

That, without a doubt, is game over.

Ibrahimovic finds himself in a good position at the by-line and his cross deflects off Jones and finds the back of the net.

The Swedish striker tries to claim it, but it’s definitely an own goal by the ‘keeper.

Here’s a look at that Mata goal…

Double substitution for United.

Lingard and Depay replace Rooney and Mkhitaryan.

Half chance for Rashford.

He tries to curl it into the top corner from the edge of the box, but Jones saves with relative ease, as it’s straight at him.

Lingard’s deflected shot is tipped on to the bar by Jones.

This match really has been as one-sided as the scoreline suggests.

Three minutes of added time, but this game has been effectively over for quite a while.

MAN UNITED 4-0 FEYENOORD (LINGARD 90)

Nice interplay between Depay and Lingard, before the latter curls a shot into the corner of the net.

This is set to be United’s biggest win under Jose Mourinho.

FULL-TIME: MAN UNITED 4-0 FEYENOORD

Right, that’s all from me as United record an emphatic victory over Feyenoord.

They need just a draw in their final game away against Zorya Luhansk in their final game in order to progress.
