Liverpool sign Belgian striker Origi and then send him back out on loan for the season

The striker was in action for the Belgian side that reached the quarter-final stage of the recent World Cup in Brazil.

LIVERPOOL HAVE CONFIRMED the signing of Belgian striker Divock Origi from Lille for a reported fee of £10 million.

But Liverpool fans will have to wait to see the 19 year-old in action as he is to be loaned back to the French club for the upcoming 2014-15 campaign.

The striker was in action for the Belgian side that reached the quarter-final stage of the recent World Cup in Brazil.

Origi began his career with Belgian side Genk before moving to Ligue 1 outfit Lille in 2010 and scoring six goals during his time with the club.

He  has won eight caps for Belgium and netted for the first time when he scored the winner in their World Cup group match against Russia.
