Man claims to have found a dead mouse in his McDonald's coffee

It also left a few little presents.

A CANADIAN MAN claims he got a nasty surprise when he reached the end of his McDonald’s coffee–a dead mouse.

Ron Morais from Fredericton didn’t discover the grim rodent until he had reached the end of the cup, and only noticed it because he always takes the lid off to get the last drop.

Speaking to CBC, Morais said when he took the lid off, “there was a little bit of a surprise in my coffee cup. It was a dead mouse”. But that’s not all, the mouse had also left a few ‘presents’.

GAH.

Morais said his co-workers would be sceptical of his claim only they saw the mouse for themselves, with one claiming the sight made her “green to the gills”.

McDonald’s Canada say they are beginning an investigation but they have found no evidence of pests at the branch where the coffee was purchased.

In a statement, the fast food giant said:

We are continuing to investigate this isolated incident and have reached out to the customer to obtain the product sample. Until such time as we are able to collect all the necessary facts and laboratory results to conclude a full review, it would be inappropriate for us to comment further.
