Bournemouth are the latest club to be linked with a loan move for out-of-favour Chelsea defender John Terry.

With PSG reportedly allowing them to leave, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham are understood to be eyeing up Grzegorz Krychowiak and Jese Rodriguez, who are valued at a combined total of £55m (€63m).

Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and 20-year-old Inter Milan attacker Gabriel Barbosa are reportedly January targets for Liverpool, while Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt is also a potential signing.

In other Liverpool-related transfer news, the club are understood to be valuing 26-year-old centre-back Mamadou Sakho at £20m (€23m), with Swansea, Sevilla, Galatasaray and Southampton all rumoured to be interested.

West Ham’s £12.5m (€14m) bid for Irish-qualified Scott Hogan has been rejected, with Brentford holding out for £15m (€17m).

Retro Deal of the Day: Sami Hyypia to Liverpool

Without a doubt one of the shrewdest purchases in Premier League history, Hyypia joined Liverpool for just £2.6m from Willem II.

While the poorly judged signings of the Gerard Houllier era are often cited, Hyypia was one obvious exception.

The Finnish defender made over 300 appearances for the Reds between 1999 and 2009, winning two League Cups, two FA Cups, the UEFA Cup and the Champions League during his time at Anfield.

The centre-back later spent two years at Bayer Leverkusen before retiring, and has since gone into management. He has coached Leverkusen, Brighton and FC Zurich, leaving the latter club last May with the team bottom of the league.
