Man United will not pursue Pep Guardiola -- reports

The Red Devils insist they have no intention of speaking with the in-demand Spanish coach.

PEP GUARDIOLA WON’T be managing Manchester United anytime soon, according to reports.

Guardiola’s suggestion that his next destination will be the Premier League has sent the rumour mill into overdrive, with United among the clubs linked with the 44-year-old coach, who has confirmed he is leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

But contrary to Guardiola’s claims that he has yet to agree a contract with any club, The Manchester Evening News reports that United insiders feel a deal with City is all but done.

The Red Devils consequently have no intention of speaking with the former Barcelona coach, with the club adamant that they will continue to back current boss Louis van Gaal.
