They have been warned on future conduct.

MANCHESTER CITY HAVE been fined £35,000 after admitting they breached the FA’s anti-doping guidelines, according to a governing body.

As part of the rules, clubs are required to provide information so that they are available for testing at all times. They must provide details of all training sessions and player whereabouts.

Manchester City failed to comply with this rule, providing inaccurate information on three occasions, BBC Sport are reporting.

An official statement from the FA read: “Following an independent regulatory commission hearing, Manchester City have been fined £35,000 and warned as to their future conduct after admitting a breach of the FA’s rules on anti-doping. “City were charged with failing to ensure their ‘club whereabouts’ information was accurate, contrary to Regulation 14(d).”

City will not be commenting on the matter, according to Sky Sports.
