The Manneken Pis statue got dressed up for St Patrick's Day

Looking good, little guy.

ST PATRICK’S DAY isn’t just for families, marching bands, and papier-maché enthusiasts, you know. Even tiny statues can get in on the action.

The Manneken Pis statue in Brussels donned an Aran jumper, flat cap, green trousers and – just in case it wasn’t clear – a shamrock rosette yesterday to honour Ireland’s patron saint.

This pic was snapped by Ireland’s Minister for European Affairs Paschal Donohoe, who noted that the statue has a total of 920 costumes. You can see a few of them, including the time he was dressed as Nelson Mandela, here.

This one is our new favourite, obviously.
