HE’S WON EVERY honour in the game but Maurice Fitzgerald shows no sign of permanently hanging up his boots yet.

The Kerry Gaelic football legend lined out for his club St Mary’s in the South Kerry league yesterday against local rivals Waterville.

And Fitzgerald didn’t hang around to make his mark.

He fired over an early point and it was a trademark effort.

St Mary’s ended up winning the game by 0-9 to 0-7 as the veteran enjoyed success.

And there was plenty praise for the three-time Allstar winner.
