Mixture of youth & experience as Mayo name team to face Cork

Lee Keegan will captain the team, though no captain for the season has been appointed yet.

STEPHEN ROCHFORD HAS named a mixture of youth and experience for Mayo’s first Allianz League game against Cork on Sunday.

There are several familiar names, with nine of the side who featured in last year’s All-Ireland semi-final, including Robbie Hennelly, Ger Cafferkey and Aidan O’Shea, given the nod to start.

Lee Keegan will captain the team, though no skipper for the season has been appointed yet.

The game at Páirc Uí Rinn gets underway at 2pm.
