Poll: Meath nearly caught the Dubs last year but can anyone stop them in Leinster in 2014?

Can anyone stop Dublin?

CAN ANYONE BEAT Dublin in Leinster? They’ve won eight of the last ten titles and they look to only be getting stronger.

Meath came closest last year, the Royals are actually the last team outside the capital to have won the Delaney Cup.

A young Westmeath team go in search of their second ever championship, off the back of Division 1 league football this year – albeit they lost all of their games.

Excluding the 100 plus years Wicklow have gone without ever winning the trophy, the ten teams competing with Dublin in the province have a combined wait of almost 300 years before they last won it.

So who can do it?

Kildare may come in under the radar this year, without the hype of previous years, or maybe Wexford, Louth or Laois may hit form at the right time?

Longford seem to have hit a wall going on their performances in this year’s league, but with a fuller hat to pick from for the championship maybe they can fulfill the promise of their recent minor successes and win their second ever title?

Can anyone look past the Dubs? Who do you think will win this year’s Leinster championship?
