Man arrested over murder of Michael Devoy

The 41-year-old was shot in Tallaght in January this year.

A MAN HAS been arrested over the murder of Michael Devoy at the start of this year.

Devoy, a 41-year-old drug addict, was shot in January and his body was discovered by gardaí on patrol on Foxhill Road in Tallaght. He later died of his injuries.

A hunt for two men who had been seen speeding away from the scene in a car earlier that day followed.

Today gardaí said a man in his early 20s was arrested in Dublin this morning in connection with this investigation and is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
