US MERE MORTALS are hardly fit to speak of Michael Phelps, let alone carry his golf bag around while he plays at the Dunhill Links Championship in Kingsbairn, Scotland this week.
The most decorated Olympian of all time — that’s 22 in total, 18 golds, in case you lost count — was playing alongside Paul Casey today when he sank this monstrous 50-yard putt.
“It was the longest putt I’ve ever had,” the American swimmer said afterwards, which is reassuring for those of us who three-putt from four feet and will never even get near an Olympic swimming pool.
Let’s see Ryan Lochte try to steal his limelight now, eh?
