You haven’t seen a coach celebrate until you’ve seen Mexico boss Miguel Herrera do his thing.

‘El Tri’ booked their place in the last 16 with a 3-1 win against Croatia last night and Herrera let his emotions run free.

Suit be damned, he took a tumble as he celebrated with defender Paul Aguilar and then quickly dusted himself off to catch Guillermo Ochoa as the goalkeeper bounded towards him.

Skipper Rafa Marquez has already spoken about how he sees his manager as the great unifier behind this Mexico team. Judging by his players’ reactions, and the minor cult of celebrity that is growing around Herrera, a lot of people agree.

“That is one of the happiest days of my life,” he said afterwards. It sure looked like it:
