There are spoilers ahead, obviously. Understand? Spoilers.

SEASON THREE OF Moone Boy came to a close last night with an emotional finale.

It had everything the viewers could have possibly wanted, ranging from reenactments of the historic battle between Napoleon, De Valera, and Godzilla, to a cameo from Paul Rudd.

He played the ghost of Grandad Moone’s  imaginary friend, who returned to him in his final days.

Yes, Grandad Moone passed away, and it released all the feels.

The imaginary friends all got together to give George a funeral, only to discover that he was still around – but as a ghost, in black and white.

But everyone still had Paul Rudd to fall in love with, so it’s not all bad.
