Stephen Archer, Dave Foley, Dave Kilcoyne and Felix Jones have all committed to the province.

MUNSTER HAVE TODAY underlined the IRFU’s new focus on smooth contract negotiations with four internationals committed to the province for at least two more years.

Tighthead Stephen Archer, 26, has been handed a three-year contract to keep him at Thomond Park until 2018.

Dave Kilcoyne, Dave Foley, Felix Jones and  (25, 26 and 27 respectively) meanwhile have each agreed to two-year extensions.

With the exception of Jones, the group are Munster born and bred with the four boasting a total of 25 international caps between them.

“This is a great step forward for us,” says head coach Anthony Foley.

“Securing players of this calibre is always a boost for the club and it shows our commitment to developing home-grown players and talent. These guys have come through the structures and have reached international level with so much more to come, and it’s hugely positive for all involved.”
