Poll: Who will come out on top in the 2017 Munster senior hurling championship?

Holders Tipperary are aiming for a first provincial three-in-a-row since 1989.

TIPPERARY HAVE RULED the roost in the Munster senior hurling championship for the last two years.

If the Premier County manage to retain their title, they’ll have won three-in-a-row in the province for the first time since 1989.

Cork were the last team other than Tipp to win Munster, Limerick were victorious in 2013 while Waterford have to go back to 2010 for their last success.

For Clare, meanwhile, the long wait continues. The Banner County haven’t ruled the province since way back in 1998, and that’s a famine they’ll be eager to end.

The race for Southern honours gets underway on 21 May, when Tipperary host Cork at Semple Stadium.

The winners of that game will take on Waterford on 18 June, with neighbours Limerick and Clare doing battle in the other semi-final two weeks earlier, on 4 June.

But we want to know who you think will be celebrating when the dust settles on the 2017 Munster senior hurling final on 9 July.

Poll Results:

Tipperary (1864)
Waterford (742)
Clare (636)
Cork (477)
Limerick (346)
