Mystery solved: here's how Aguero got his 'stupid' injury

After much debate on Twitter, the cause of the Argentinian’s problems has finally been revealed.

AFTER MUCH SPECULATION about how exactly Sergio Aguero’s so-called ‘stupid’ injury came about, all has been revealed.

The Daily Mirror reports that the Man City player damaged his foot while riding his three-year-old child’s mini motorbike.

The player then attempted to quicken his recover using anaesthetic freeze spray, which only exacerbated his pain, leaving burns and blisters in his foot.

It is by no means the first time that a footballer has been the victim of a freak accident, but City manager Roberto Mancini is reportedly furious nonetheless, as the player failed to seek advice from the club’s medical staff following the incident.

City’s top scorer missed last week’s game at Sunderland, but Mancini hopes to have him fit in time for the club’s clash with Arsenal next week.
