POLICE IN THE United Kingdom have issued an urgent appeal for information after a newborn baby was found in an amusement arcade last night.
Merseyside Police are urging the mother to come forward, stressing that she is not in any trouble.
“Our primary concern is for the health of the girl’s mother,” Detective Inspector Mike Dalton said.

The baby girl, who has been named April, was found in the disabled toilets of Silcock’s Amusement Arcade in Southport yesterday evening. She is currently being cared for a nearby hospital.
Police believe the birth was unsupervised, and fear that the mother may need medical help.
“I would urge April’s mother to urgently come forward or at least seek treatment, as she could suffer medical complications which are potentially very dangerous,” Dalton added.
A grainy CCTV image has been released of a woman police say could help them with their enquiries.
