All the goals as France reach the quarter-final of the World Cup

Nigeria had a goal ruled out for offside in the first half.

FRANCE ARE THROUGH to the quarter-finals of the World Cup following a Paul Pogba header and Joseph Yobo own goal.

Pogba took advantage of a mistake by Vincent Enyeama to cushion his header home in the 79th minute.

Minutes later, the game was over when Yobo turned the ball into his own net following another France corner.

Earlier, Nigeria thought they had taken the lead but Emmanuel Emenike’s goal was ruled out for offside.

It was a tight decision, the Fenerbache striker looked in line with the last defender, but the goal didn’t count:

Down the other end, Paul Pogba created and almost finished France’s best opportunity but his shot was well saved by Enyeama in the Nigerian goal:
