GIF: O'Driscoll genius opens up Samoan defence

Up until this moment, we only had a rolling maul to crow about.

FOR 45 MINUTES of Ireland’s opening November Test against Samoa, there wasn’t a whole lot to cheer about.

Fortunately, Brian O’Driscoll gave us this moment of magic to set up Sean O’Brien’s try.


Paddy Jackson’s back-spinning kick caught out Brando Va’aulu, but with O’Driscoll taking the ball up he thought he had wrapped the former captain up.

Now you see it, now you don’t.
