UNLESS YOU’VE BEEN glued to the internet all weekend, there’s a chance that some weird and wonderful sporting tidbits might have slipped through the cracks. Here’s a run-down of some of the stories you may have missed.

1. #RAFA OUT A large section of Chelsea fans let their feelings known before yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Manchester City by booing new manager Rafa Benitez at the kick-off. Sky’s Geoff Shreeves quizzed the Spaniard after the game but he insisted he was so focused he didn’t hear it.

2. #GOOD CAUSE Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders Megan M and Crystal B support head coach Chuck Pagano, who was diagnosed with leukemia in September, by shaving their heads before Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills. The pair raised $22,000 for leukemia research.

4. #RETIRED Ricky Hatton suffered a sad return to boxing on Saturday night with defeat to Vyacheslav Senchenko after a ninth round stoppage. After the fight, the Hitman announced his retirement from the sport for a second time. Watch the press conference below:
