OFFALY COUNTY BOARD chiefs tonight appointed former Kerry coach Eamonn Kelly as their senior hurling boss.
All-Ireland-winning coach Liam Sheedy will act as mentor for his fellow Tipperary man.
Sheedy chaired the working group that recommended Kelly as manager.
The Sunday Game pundit will “engage with Offaly hurlers throughout the season – attending and inputting into training sessions as agreed with Eamonn and Offaly County Board,” a statement reads.
