Ronan O'Gara to face Top 14 disciplinary commitee

French rugby bosses have called the Munster legend to a hearing.

RACING METRO COACH Ronan O’Gara is to face a disciplinary committee to answer questions about his actions during the win over Toulon last weekend.

O’Gara’s former Ireland international team-mate Jonny Sexton had his jaw broken in an ill-tempered affair on Saturday night. Sexton now faces up to a six-week spell on the sidelines, the French club confirmed to TheScore yesterday.

O’Gara — now a backs and skills coach in Paris — was included in the reports of two match officials following the hard-fought 17-10 victory. The documents do not specify what exactly happened but made reference to the ex-Munster kicker’s ‘behaviour’. He will face the committee on 17 September.

The Cork native was also cited in May last year but escaped serious sanctions.
