MUNSTER COULD LOSE the services of Ireland international Tomás O’Leary at the end of the current campaign.
Having been linked with Perpignan and Stade Francais for a number of weeks, French television channel Canal+ announced on Friday night that the scrum-half had signed a two-year deal with the southern French outfit.
However, a spokesman for the player told TheScore.ie that the Cork number nine “hasn’t signed anywhere as of yet” and “will make his decision next week on where he will play” having been made offers in Ireland and abroad.
O’Leary has been reduced to a replacement role this term largely because of the form of Conor Murray, a development that has also seen Peter Stringer join English side Saracens on loan.
A lack of rugby has also seen O’Leary drop out of Declan Kidney’s starting 22 with Murray and Leinster’s Eoin Reddan covering the scrum-half position.
