Open Thread: How will Ireland fare against South Africa?

The Springboks come to Dublin this evening, with both sides missing a number of key players. We want to know how you think the match will go for Declan Kidney’s men?

“THEY’RE BIG, THEY’RE strong and they want to run over you. Make no bones about it, they want to run over you, they want to run through you and then get their backs to run around you on the edge.

“We’ve got to front-up. Win the collisions, win the gain-line when we can and try and then get the ball back and put some pressure on them.”

Ireland’s captain Jamie Heaslip is in defiant form ahead of this evening’s clash against South Africa at the Aviva Stadium.

Declan Kidney’s team are missing a number of star names, including Brian O’Driscoll, Paul O’Connell and Rob Kearney, though the Springboks are not without their own injury problems.

The question is this – how will this Irish side fare against their illustrious opponents?
