THE GALWAY RACES are as much about the craic off the track as the action on it.
With that in mind, we’ve put together a few key stats and some interesting markets punters can have a flutter on.
For example, did you know the festival has attracted crowds of over 160,000 in recent years so expect a few celebrities to show their faces – we’re looking at you Joe Canning (10/1).
Also, 160,000 pints were poured at the 2015 festival and there’s a 25/1 chance they’ll run out of the black stuff this year.
