Hundred of mourners gathered in Ventry in West Kerry today as the football icon was laid to rest.

KERRY FOOTBALL ICON Páidí Ó Sé was laid to rest today in his native Ventry in West Kerry.

The funeral service drew hundred of mourners and scores of dignitaries (read the full report here) from the sporting and political worlds.

They gathered to sympathise with Páidí’s wife Máire, three children Neasa, Siún and Padraig Óg, and his extended family.
