'Bonner' Maher only change as Tipp name side for Limerick showdown

The sides meet in a mouth-watering Munster SHC semi-final at Semple Staduim.

PATRICK ‘BONNER’ MAHER has been named in the Tipperary XV to take on Limerick in the Munster SHC semi-final this weekend.

The Lorrha-Borrha clubman is the only change from the side that easily saw off Cork in Thurles last time out.

Maher came off the bench to score one point against the Rebels and is named instead of Mullinahone man Sean Curran.

Limerick earlier named a side featuring four young players set to make their senior championship debuts, meanwhile.

Tipperary: D Gleeson; C Barrett, J Barry, M Cahill; S Kennedy, R Maher, P Maher; B Maher, M Breen; D McCormack, P Maher, N McGrath; J O’Dwyer, S Callanan, J McGrath.
