Decent knock: Paul Dunne keeps pace with leaders in Jo'burg despite this cricket style drive

HOWZAT!

IRELAND’S PAUL DUNNE suffered a troublesome back nine at the Joburg Open today to slow his chase of the leaders, but seven birdies still brought him a four-under par 68.

After a brilliant 63 on the west course yesterday, Dunne made the turn with a bogey-free -4 on the east course, yet only managed to break even despite three birdies on the way to the clubhouse.

The low point of Dunne’s round was an ugly double bogey on the 11th after he found a hazard. The 23-year-old managed to recover and make up for the setback with birdies on 14 and 15, but slipped again with a bogey after this cricket-esque drive on 17.

A birdie on 18 brought him back to -4 for the day and -13 for the tournament, three shots off England’s Anthony Wall who shot five-under-par today and two shots back from Zander Lombard after his superb seven-under-par 65.
