Paul O'Connell is on BBC in Paris and they played this wonderful career montage

A nice touch from the broadcaster as Paulie joined Keith Wood and Thomas Castaignede in the studio.

IT DOESN’T SEEM right to see Paul O’Connell in the television gantry instead of in the heat of the battle but the former Ireland captain is making his punditry debut for BBC this afternoon.

Shortly before kick-off at the Stade de France, the broadcaster played this lovely montage to celebrate the great man’s illustrious career.

Just as he was on the pitch, O’Connell is a complete natural with the microphone and has already won plenty of plaudits for conveying his views in an articulate manner.
