STILIYAN PETROV TOOK to the pitch to thank fans for supporting his leukaemia charity — and was saluted with a beautifully poignant rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone in return.
60,000 fans packed into Celtic Park for a match in aid of the Stiliyan Petrov Foundation set up by the Bulgarian midfielder who is in remission from acute leukaemia.
After the final whistle, Petrov was joined on the pitch by wife Paulina and sons Kristiyan and Stiliyan Jr as Glasgow showed its support in a moving tribute.
