Poll: Is it OK that hotels increase room prices for big events?

It’s not an uncommon thing.

A DUBLIN HOTEL was the subject of controversy after telling people they could stay in homeless shelters if they weren’t happy with its room rates on the nights of Ed Sheeran gigs.

The post highlighted the common practice of dearer hotel rooms on nights of big events.

This helps the hotel to bring in revenue, but some customers may find prices an unwanted addition to the other expenses incurred while travelling to a gig.

What do you think: Is it OK that hotels increase room prices for big events?

Poll Results:

No (7086)
Yes (4183)
I don't know (341)
